A Brief History of Buses in Pop Culture

In the 1950's Ralph Kramden drove a bus for the Gotham Bus Company.

In the 1960's Ken Kesey conducted "acid tests" in his day-glo Bus.

In the 1970's The Partridge Family made their way to lip-syncing/pretend gigs.

In the 1980's Pope John Paul II rode in a SEAT Panda Pope mobile.
(OK, not really a bus, but still very cool in design)

In the 1990's Ms. Frizzle discovered adventures in her Magic School Bus.

In the 2000's Zoo Buses got us closer to nature..

In  2011 Third man records sets off for its maiden voyage.
Better put on some clean white socks for the road trip to Austin.
                                              Godspeed and adios.
